Obituary

Nozich, William James Sr. “Willy”, 75, Johnstown, passed away unexpectedly June 13, 2026, at his home. Born January 7, 1951, in Johnstown. Preceded in death by parents, Helen (Nozich) and Telesfor Gaunt Sr.; son, William “BJ” Nozich Jr.; sister, Deborah Mangus; and grandparents, Basiel and Blanche Milkovich. Survived by daughter, Blanche Lonsinger and significant other, Scott; siblings, Telesfor “Zeke” Gaunt Jr. (Deborah); Cynthia Mihalik (Allan); Karen Williams; grandchildren, Brady and Madison Lonsinger; and special buddy, Shadow. Willy was an avid hunter and fisherman. At the family’s request, there will be no viewing. A celebration of life will be held at a later date.
