Teeter (Younker), Darl A., 94, Johnstown, died April 17, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Dec. 13, 1921 in Hollywood, VA, to the late Austin L. and Bertha May (Berkey) Younker. Preceded in death by husband, Robert H. Teeter; siblings, Ruth Younker; Robert E. Younker; Sadie Schuller; and grandsons, Rodger Walls; and Mark Saintz and wife Wendy. Survived by daughters, Roberta Walls, (Rodger); Alice Walls, (Daniel); brother, William Younker (Laverne); sister, Bertha Boyer; grandchildren, Timothy Saintz; Matthew Saintz, (Bonnie); Andrew Saintz; Patricia Toth, (Ray); William Walls; Denise Hahn, (Mark); great grandchildren, Grayce Toth; Brittany Atkins, (Tyler); Deborah Powell, (Raymond); David R. Walls; Kayla; Alyssa; and Alexia Hahn; Angelina; Michael; and Robert Saintz; great great grandson, Charles Atkins; and numerous nieces and nephews. Darl was a member of Mt. Olive United Methodist Church in Jackson Twp. She loved sewing, cooking, and gardening and was very good at all three. Darl was a thrifty woman who enjoyed taking things apart and putting them back together again or making useless items into something fancy. She also loved organ music. Friends will be received Thurs. Apr. 21 from 11 a.m. until time of service at 3 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave. Pastor Carol Hickman, officiating. Memorial donations may be made in Darl’s name to Mt. Olive United Methodist Church, 2567 Benshoff Hill Rd., Johnstown, PA 15909.
