Stewart, Robena Mae L. – 92, Hastings, went to be with the Lord October 19, 2015 at Rebekah Manor. She was born May 1, 1923 in Marsteller, PA. Daughter of Herbert and Elizabeth (Canis) Lee. She is preceded in death by her parents; her husband John W. Stewart; her siblings, Harold “Jake” Lee, Jeane Hicks, and Evelyn Fowler. She is survived by her children, Marlene (John) Simpson, Chest Springs; Richard (Susan) Stewart, Hastings; Margaret “Peggy” (John) Tinik, Northern Cambria; David (Wendy) Stewart, Punta Gorda, FL; Dawna (Ernest) Gibbons, Hastings; Patricia “Patti” (Donald) Ferguson, Northern Cambria; 18 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren; she is also survived by her siblings Herbert “Bert” (Laura) Lee, Patton, and Dorothy Jewett (John) Weaver, Summerhill. Robena had a love for music, she was an organist, and was involved in church choir, and also served as director of Vacation Bible School. Friends and Family will be received Friday October 23, 2015 from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home 333 Beaver St. Hastings, PA 16646. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday October 24, 2015 at 11 a.m. Rev. Stephen G. Durr and Rev. David Stewart Officiating. Interment will be at Union Cemetery, Hastings.
