Obituary

Vogel, Edward Joseph, “Rev”, 90, Daisytown, died December 30, 2013 at Golden Living Center. Born June 22, 1923 in Daisytown, son of the late Francis and Elizabeth (Schmadel) Vogel. Preceded in death by wife, Lila R. (Moschgat) Vogel; brothers and sisters, Helen Diamond; James Vogel; William Vogel; Eleanor Moschgat; Catherine Moschgat and Paul Vogel. Edward was the last surviving member of his immediate family. Survived by son, Douglas Edward Vogel and daughters, Aleta Rae Vogel and Laura Janene Theofanous. Edward was retired from the United States Postal Service, was a US Navy Veteran having served during WWII, was a school bus driver for Ribblet Corporation, and was a member of the VFW Menoher Post 155. At the request of the deceased, there will be no viewing or service. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Cambria County Humane Society.
