Obituary

Cardone – Jack A., 81, Windber, died December 1, 2009 at Memorial Medical Center. Born March 14, 1928 in Windber; son of the late Jack and Anna (Guido) Cardone. Preceded in death by beloved wife of 57 years, Anna Mae (Bartek) Cardone, who passed away unexpectedly on May 27, 2005. Also, brothers, Cosum and Tony Cardone; and sisters, Mary Cardone, Connie Pugh, Sally Roscetti, and Angeline Mucci.

Survived by children, Debra Ann Locke, married to Raymond;
Jack Cardone and special friend Susan Sipko; and
Linda Mele married to Frank, all of Windber.
Also, dear brother, John Cardone married to Julia (Buckshaw), Windber; sisters, Amelia Reo, Lake Wood, CO;
Delores “Baby” Costlow married to Raymond, Granada Hills, CA;
grandchildren, Adam Locke, Erin Lynn Coughy, Amanda Larue Cardone, Ashley Locke, Frankie Mele Jr.; great grandson, Ethan Warren Price, special nephew, Ron Cardone and many other nieces and nephews.

U.S. Navy Veteran of WWII serving aboard the USS Okanogan and the inactive Navel Reserve during the Korean War Conflict. He was a recipient of the WWII Victory Medal.

Retired member of the Local Union 354 Plumbers & Pipefitters with over 50 years experience.
