Obituary

Zima, John, 80, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord February 12, 2013. Born December 24, 1932 in Johnstown. Son of the late Joseph and Mary (Lichvar) Zima. Preceded in death by brothers Michael and Joseph Jr.; sisters Agnes and Mary Zima, Ann Patay, and Margaret Weiman. Survived by sisters Betty Kennedy, Johnstown and Helen Nadolski, Michigan; son Dennis Campbell and wife Lynne Campbell, Johnstown; daughter Brenda Campbell and Fiance Warren Whitmyre, Johnstown; grandchildren Kristie, Dennis Jr., Ashley, and Sarah, and grandpuppy Maxx. John was a Korean War veteran. He had a great love for his family and was a proud ‘Pappy.’ He loved hunting and was an avid outdoorsman. At his request there will be no viewing. A memorial service will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Hindman Funeral Homes, 1521 Frankstown Road, Reverend Chuck Bridges officiating. Committal service immediately following at St. Mary’s Cemetery.
