Obituary

King, Judy L., 62, Johnstown, died May 24, 2012 at Memorial Medical Center. Born June 13, 1949 in Lancaster, daughter of the late Hiram and Anna (Landis) Charles.

Preceded in death by brother-in-law, Robert Wenger.

Survived by husband, Pastor Phillip A. King, Johnstown; daughter, Karen, married to David Moulton, Chickasaw, AL; granddaughter, Tiffany Wentz, Pensacola, FL; sister Carolyn Wenger, Epharta, PA and brother Benjamin Charles and wife, Lisa (Dove), Harrisonburg, VA.

Judy was an LPN for Delaware Valley Memorial Hospital; past president of the Middle Taylor Fire Hall Ladies Auxillary; vice president of the Women’s Fellowship and past president of the Alethia Sunday school class at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren.

Friends will be received from 2 to 6pm Monday at the Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., and from 10 until time of service at 11am Tuesday at the Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren. Pastor Donald Beachley; Pastor Horace Derr and Pastor Russ Peruso, officiating.

Committal will be held at the Benshoff Hill Cemetery. In lieu of flowrs, memorial donations may be made to Pleasant Hill Church of the Breteren; Johnstown Christian School or the Gideon’s INTL.
