Obituary

BARRON – Robert, 82, Johnstown, died July 7, 2010, at Memorial Medical Center. Born January 11, 1928, in Johnstown, he was the son of Peter and Anna (Ondovic) Barron. He was preceded in death by his parents; beloved wife, Doris (Sweeney) Barron; infant daughter, Colleen; and brother, John Barron.

He is survived by loving children: Robert Barron, California; Barbara Hargrove, and husband, Keith, Virginia; Alex Barron, Johnstown; Kathleen Aviles, Connecticut; Joseph Barron, and wife, Taghrid, Virginia; Janet Seda, and husband, Ron, Virginia; He is also survived by grandchildren, Justin Hargrove, and wife, Kim; Jessica (Hargrove) Fuller, and husband, Brian; Ryan and Spencer Seda; Colleen, Matthew, and Megan Aviles; and Robert and Liam Barron; and great grandchildren, Braden and Madeline Fuller; sister, Rosella McCutcheon, Johnstown; brothers, Peter Barron, and wife, Delores, Johnstown, and Charles Barron, and wife, Elizabeth, California; numerous brother and sister in-laws, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

He was a World War II veteran, where he honorably served in the U.S. Navy, Construction Battalion (CBs).

The family has requested that memorial contributions be made to the American Heart Association. He was loved very much and will be missed by many.
