Agnes A. Abel, 88, of Patton, passed away Thursday November 17, 2022 at Cambria Care. Born August 6, 1934 in St Boniface; a daughter of the late Joseph and Sue (Tabatcher) Kopera. Also preceded in death by her husband, Bernard Abel, siblings, Joan Witt, Susan Smith and Richard Kopera. Survived by children, Theresa Smego (Francis), St. Boniface, Joseph Abel, Patton, Catherine Anna (John), Patton, Susan Miller (Kenneth), Chest Springs, siblings, Mary Lou McMurray (Fred), Hastings, Joseph Kopera, Hastings, Theresa Baker (Jerry) Patton; 11 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Agnes was a very strong women who raised her four children after the death of her husband of 25 years, the true love of her life. She was a caring sister to her siblings, an amazing and faithful friend. She had an outstanding love for her grandchildren and great grandchildren. A memorial service will be held on Monday November 21, 2022 at 11am at St. Bernards Catholic Church in Hastings with Father Thaddeus Rettger officiating.
