Simkovic, Agnes Marie, 78, Johnstown, passed away January 8, 2018 at Arbutus Park Manor. Born September 14, 1939. Daughter of the late Jacob and Clara (Carothers) Dolence. Preceded in death by parents; loving husband, John Simkovic; sister, Deborah Ed; and nephew, Ezra Ed. Survived by daughter, Amy Dull, VA; brother, John Dolence (Patty), Johnstown; brother, Edward Dolence (Diane), Johnstown; brother-in-law, Mark Ed, Johnstown; nephews, Manny Ed, Johnstown and Elijah Ed, Pittsburgh; nephew, Luke Goas, Johnstown; niece, Laurice Heine, Chambersburg; and nephew, Philip Dolence, NY. Agnes worked as a nurse at Mercy Hospital until she retired. She made many lifelong friends there that she treasured, and she was loved by all. She was a loving mother, wife, sister, and aunt and brought joy to all who knew her. Agnes enjoyed fishing and sports, especially bowling, golfing, cross country skiing, swimming, and bike riding. At the request of the family, there will be no services.
