Obituary

Follmar, Alberta Mae, 96, Johnstown, passed away March 29, 2018 at the Lutheran Home at Johnstown. Born July 30, 1921 to the late Conrad and Anna (Axemaker) Rosenberger. Preceded in death by husband, Russell; and siblings, Joseph, Walter, Lawrence, Gertrude, Dorothy, and Rita. Survived by daughters, Amy Hancheck; Sara Thomas married to Scott; sister, Shirley Johnson; brother, John “Jack” Rosenberger; grandchildren, Emily and Joseph Hancheck; Adele Hunter married to Daniel; Seth Thomas (Larissa); great grandchildren, Audrinna, Daniel, Aden, Caleb, and Chess; sister-in-law, Jeanne Hillenbrand; Shirley Follmar; loving dog Bella; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Alberta was an avid knitter and loved spending time with her friends. She enjoyed traveling, especially to Maine and the lake house in NY. Friends will be received Tues. April 3 from 5-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. A Memorial Mass will be held Wed. 10 a.m at St. Benedict Church. Interment at Richland Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the American Kidney Fund (A.K.F.), 11921 Rockville Pike Suite 300 Rockville, MD 20852. Alberta did not have kidney problems but supported the A.K.F.
