Obituary

Bishop, Alice L. (Leckey), 78, passed away September 5, 2024, at Lexington Health and Rehabilitation Center in St. Petersburg, FL. Born November 25, 1945, to the late John and June (Mowery) Leckey. Preceded in death by husband of 19 years, Randale Bishop. Survived by sisters, Gracie, wife of the late James Devine; and Maxine, wife of Ronald Devine. Alice graduated from Conemaugh School of Nursing and was an LPN for 35 years. She took pride in being an aunt to her two nieces and nine nephews and will be remembered for making each of them their own special cake for their birthday each year. Alice was also an avid reader and enjoyed traveling. Family will receive friends Wednesday September 11th from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave. Pastor Tom Moore, officiating. Committal to follow at Grandview Cemetery. Donations may be made in Alice’s memory to Belmont Community Church.
