Wertz, Alice, 93, Johnstown, died May 6, 2016 at LaurelWood Care Center. Born March 8, 1923 to the late George and Minnie (Kidd) Maurer. Preceded in death by daughter, Linda; brothers, Lawrence, Willard, James, Herbert; and grandson, Patrick. Survived by loving daughter, Elizabeth Williams and husband Donald; granddaughter, Amy, Seattle WA; grandson, Bobby; and numerous nieces and nephews. Alice enjoyed being a homemaker and gardening. At Alice’s request, there will be no viewing or service. Special thanks to the staff at Country Manor Living and LaurelWood for all the wonderful care and attention they gave to Alice.
