Picklo, Amy Katherine, 45, Johnstown, passed away Dec. 19, 2017. Born Oct. 2, 1972 to Bernard and Bonnie (Hill) Picklo. Preceded in death by father. Survived by mother; brother, Bernie Picklo and his wife Anne Holcomb; and nephews, Daniel and Matthew Picklo. Amy received her bachelor’s degree from Penn State University in 1993. She was a French teacher in Lancaster before becoming an early childhood specialist at Highland Community Library, where she worked in children’s programming and circulation staff. Amy was an avid Penn State fan. She was a founding member and secretary of Laurel Highlands Chapter of Penn State Alumni Association. Friends will be received Fri.
