Gonda, Andrew “Andy”, 80, of Johnstown, went to be with the Lord June 21, 2023, following a brief illness. Born April 21, 1943. Son of Andrew and Mary (Plish) Gonda. Preceded in death by parents and brothers, Robert and James. Andy is survived by his loving wife of 44 years, Josephine (Kuznar); children, Rob (Steve); Vince (Amy); and Carrie (Justin); grandson, Roman (Megan); brother, Gene (Judy); sister-in-law, Patty Gonda; and many loving nieces and nephews. Andy worked at Harvey’s Auto Supply and later Cumberland Trucking Company. He was an avid outdoorsman and a board member of the St. Clair Tremont Trap and Field Club. Andy loved family get togethers which always resulted in many laughs over the years. Special thanks to the ER, 10 Ashman, ICU and palliative care team at Conemaugh Hospital. And in following Andy’s wishes, there will be no visitation or viewing. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to your favorite charity in Andy’s memory.
