New London, NC – Ann C. (Donahue) Kirkpatrick, 80, passed away surrounded by her family on Saturday, September 9, 2023. Born September 27, 1942, in Hastings, PA; she was a daughter of the late Charles and Pauline (Strittmatter) Donahue. Also preceded in death by a granddaughter, Peyton Williams; Grandson, Chase Casper Covington; sister, Lois Byrnes, brother, Pat Donahue. Survived by her husband of 62 years, Gilbert Kirkpatrick, children, Nina Schrenkel (Louis), Richfield, NC, Julia Kirkpatrick, San Diego, CA, Gwen Kirkpatrick, Badin, NC, Eric Kirkpatrick, Fredericksburg, VA, Sean Kirkpatrick, Spotsylvania, VA, Paula Kirkpatrick, Lancaster, SC; 10 grandchildren, three great grandchildren, sister, Nanette Parsons, Medway, MA, brothers, Father Cecil Donahue, Goffstown, NH, Deny Donahue, Phoenix, AZ; many nieces and nephews. Ann had worked in the office at Miners Hospital in Spangler and Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg VA. She was a member of Annunciation Catholic Church, Albemarle, NC. She enjoyed gardening, movies and spending time with her family. Family and friends will be received Friday September 15, 2023 from 7 to 9  p.m., Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, 333 Beaver St., Hastings, PA 16646. Mass will be held Saturday September 16, 2023 at 11 a.m., St. Bernard Catholic Church, Fr. Thaddeus Rettger, OSB, celebrant. Viewing one hour prior at the church. Burial at St. Bernard Cemetery.
