Burgo, Ann M., 90, Johnstown, passed away May 18, 2021 at home. Born January 27, 1931 to the late Joseph and Anna (Harman) Palus. Preceded in death by husband, John Burgo Jr., who died in 2014; siblings, Sr. Mary Emmanuel; Charles Palus; Agnes Berger; Daniel Palus; and grandson, Daniel Burgo. Survived by children, Chris Michlena (Ron); Bob Burgo (Jill); Tom Burgo (Anna); John Burgo (Carole); Judy Soflarsky (Mike); Mary Jane Soflarsky (Frank); siblings, Joseph Palus; Mary Corona; Bernard Palus; John Palus; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great grandchildren. Ann was a lifetime member of St. Clare of Assisi Parish, formerly Ss Peter & Paul. She was also a member of German-Austrian Hall, American Legion, and Union Social Club. Ann enjoyed crocheting, playing bingo (especially with her “Bingo Buddy”, Sara Burgo), and she especially enjoyed going to the casinos. Services will be held privately.
