Gresco- Anna, 99, died peacefully on Sunday, May 29, 2016, at Rebekah Manor, Northern Cambria.  Born May 19, 1917, in Clymer, PA, the eldest child of Austrian immigrants, the late Peter and Mary (Gaydos) Barvinchak.  She was predeceased in death by parents, husband, William R. Gresco, and siblings, Mary Gresco, Veronica Kvasnak, Margaret Chernisky, Helen Kopera, Michael and Peter , Barvinchak, and sons-in-law, William Cristy and Dr. Raymond Dandrea. Anna is survived by children:  William Gresco, Carrolltown, Olga Cristy, South Carolina, Gregory Gresco (Deborah) , Penn Run, Delores Gresco, Connecticut, Mary Jane Dandrea, Florida, and Frederick Gresco (Rose) Patton.  Survived by brother, George Barvinchak, (Goldie), brother-in-law, Joseph Kopera, sister-in-law, Margaret Barvinchak and numerous nieces and nephews.   She was blessed to have nine grandchildren and fourteen great-grandchildren (with another expected soon).   Anna was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother.  She had a strong faith and practiced it daily and enjoyed being a homemaker and taking care of her large family.  Baking, cooking, socializing, and playing bingo as well as country music were some of her favorites.  She was able to live in her own home until age 92 and her remaining years were spent at Rebekah Manor. Friends and family will be received on Thursday, June 2, 2016, from 2- 4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m. at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, 333 Beaver St., Hastings,  and also on Friday, June 3, 2016, at St. Bernard Church, Hastings, from 10 a.m. until funeral mass at 11:00 a.m. with Father Thaddeus Rettger, OSB, officiating.  Interment will be at St. Bernard Cemetery.In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to a charity of choice in memory of Anna.
