Benyacko, Anthony “Tony” B., 76, Johnstown, passed away on March 18, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center, surrounded by family. Born June 28, 1942 to the late Anthony and Anna (Dzambik) Benyacko. Preceded in death by his parents; his sister, Theresa Kohan; brother-in-law, Robert Tutko; and best friend, Charles Fratric.  Survived by his step-children, Sean VanScoyac (Julie), Tracy Templeton (Dale), and Troy VanScoyac (Susan); 10 step-grandchildren; his siblings, Richard Benyacko (Arana), William Benyacko (Linda), Emil Benyacko (Gloria), Marian Weeks (Dennis), Patricia Tutko, and Dorothy Carbisiero (Paul); as well as numerous nieces, nephews, and other members of extended family.Tony proudly served our country in the United States Marine Corp. He  was employed by Bethlehem Steel and then retired from Freight Car America, where he was employed as a machine operator. He enjoyed spending time with his grand kids.  Friends and family will be received on Thursday March 21, 2019 from 2 PM to 8 PM at Hindman Funeral Homes and Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave. A funeral mass will be held on Friday March 22, 2019 at 11 AM at Resurrection Parish, 324 Chestnut Street Johnstown, PA 15906.
