Sterle, Anthony M. Sr., 56, Johnstown, went home to be with the Lord Nov. 16, 2015 at Good Samaritan. Born Mar. 31, 1959, Johnstown, to the late John and Gertrude (Horner) Sterle. Survived by his loving wife of 35 years, Sharon (Eisenhuth); son, Anthony Jr. married to Holly, Johnstown; daughter, Amanda Cooper married to Jeffrey Jr., Export; three grandsons, Lucas and Brantley Cooper, Export; Austin Sterle, Johnstown; sisters, Margaret Rohrer married to William Jr, Johnstown; Theresa Felix married to Joseph, Somerset; Barbara Felix married to Phillip, NJ; Bonnie Hastie, Johnstown; brothers, John Jr., Berlin; Thomas married to Diane,  Salix; step-mother, Betty Sterle, Johnstown; and mother-in-law, Evelyn Eisenhuth, Johnstown; and numerous nieces, nephews, and friends. Anthony was a US Air Force veteran and is a retired correctional officer, working for SCI Somerset State Prison and SCI Smithfield. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, golfing, and bowling, but most important to him was he family, especially his three grandsons who were his pride and joy. Friends will be received Nov. 19 from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 146 Chandler Ave. Funeral services will be held  Nov. 20 10:30 a.m. at Morrellvile Church of the Brethren, 408 Chandler Ave., Rev. John Manges, officiating. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the family. Interment Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
