Although he had a passion for working for the RPO, he was very content that his retirement lasted almost twice as long as his years on the train. He was an avid gardener, enjoyed canning his produce and looked forward to watching the Steelers with his kids and grandkids. Arnold loved playing his harmonica, and any who came for an overnight visit, were lulled to sleep by the tune of Brahms Lullaby.
