Obituary

Harrison, Arthur W., 72, Johnstown, passed away May 5, 2019 at Memorial Medical Center. Born September 7, 1946 to the late Russell and Ruth (Bassett) Harrison. Preceded in death by sisters, Phyllis Hunt; Rhoda Bouch; Neva Owens; Verda Terndrup; and brothers, Jim and Oden Harrison. Survived by wife, Patricia Joyce (Wolfhope) Harrison. Arthur and Patricia would have celebrated their 50th wedding anniversary on May 10th. Also survived by children, Russell Harrison; Amy Yingling; Randall Harrison; favorite daughter-in-law, Tisha (Lunt) Harrison; favorite son-in-law, Dave Yingling; grandchildren, David, Aunna, and Ava Yingling; Allyson and Alex Harrison; siblings, Jack, Lynn, and Allen Harrison; Lois Johns; and numerous nieces and nephews. Arthur was a member of Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren and was a crane man at Bethlehem Steel for over 30 years. Arthur enjoyed reading the bible every day and loved spending time with his grandchildren. Family and friends will be received Wednesday May 8 from 12 p.m. until time of service at 1 p.m. at Pleasant Hill Church of the Brethren. Donations may be made in Arthur’s memory to the church.
