Cameron, Barry Gene, 63, Johnstown, passed away on September 25, 2020, at home. Born, April 7, 1957, in Johnstown. Son of J. Ray & Beatrice (Penrod) Cameron. Preceded in death by father, J. Ray Cameron. Survived by mother, Beatrice Cameron; loving wife, Melanie (Simanski) Cameron; sons, Michael Cameron (Connie Masciantonio) and Quinten Cameron (Flor de Abril Gonzalez); step-grandson, Nate Perrin; granddaughter, Elyse Cameron; brothers, Franklin (Sue New) and Scott (Dana Chubski) Cameron; brother-in-law, Timothy Simanski; sister-in-law, Carla (Simanski) Rhodes (Mike Rhodes); and nieces and nephews, Brad, Jill, Ethan, Jeremiah, Katie, Josh, and Trista. Barry proudly served our country in the U.S. Air Force for 5 ½ years and the National Guard for 4 ½ years. He retired from the Postal Service after 23 years. Barry was a dedicated father to his two sons’ and served as a Cub Scout leader for 8 years and little league coach/officer for 10 years. Barry was a founding member of Westmont pee-wee football and the Widows Sons Masonic Riding Association. Barry was also a past Master at Cambria Masonic Lodge 278 and a past Patron of the Order of Eastern Star. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial donations to Shriners Hospital or Masonic Homes in Barry’s name.
