Snyder, Benjamin David, 37, Johnstown, passed away December 15, 2019. Born August 18, 1982 to David and Marcella (Clawson) Snyder. Preceded in death by paternal grandparents, Edward and Jeanette Snyder; and grandparents-in-law, Earl Blake; and Ann and Joseph Jacobs. Survived by parents; wife, Jennifer (Jacobs) Snyder; children, Quentin Benjamin Snyder; Magnolia Mae Snyder; siblings, Matthew Snyder (Nicole); Renee Bridge (Shane); Michael Snyder (Nicole); maternal grandparents, Clyde and Sally Clawson; in-laws, Dorothy Jacobs; Wayne and Patricia Jacobs; brothers-in-law, Wayne Jr. Jacobs (Elizabeth); Gregory Jacobs; Joseph Jacobs (Monica); grandmother-in-law, Alice Blake; numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins; and his entire mining and bowling family. Ben was a veteran of the U.S. Navy and was employed by LCT Energy. He was very active in bowling, was part of a Tuesday night league in Somerset, and enjoyed doing side tournaments. He also bowled in Westmont and Richland, took part in States and Nationals, and had several perfect games. Ben adored his family. His wife and two children were his pride and joy. Ben also loved his fur babies and was very proud of being an Eagle Scout. Family, work, and bowling were Ben’s life. Friends will be received Friday December 20 from 6-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. and then again on Saturday from 2-4 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the Benjamin Snyder Memorial Fund in care of First Commonwealth Bank.
