Picklo, Bernard J. Sr., 70, Johnstown, died May 11, 2015 at home.  Born June 22, 1944.  Son of the late Joseph and Helen (Porada) Picklo.  Preceded in death by sister, Connie Shepler.  Survived by loving wife, Bonnie (Hill).  Also survived by son, Bernard Jr. (Anne), Bradford; daughter, Amy, Johnstown; and grandchildren, Daniel and Matthew.  Bernard served our country in the U.S. Army in Vietnam.  He was also employed at U.S. Steel, Johnstown Corporation, and Johnstown America Corporation.  He was a member of the Penn State Alumni Association and enjoyed hunting and fishing.  Family and friends will be received Friday from 2-4 pm & 6-8 pm at Hindman Funeral Homes, 146 Chandler Ave.  Funeral Mass will be held Saturday at 10 am at the funeral home.  Interment to follow at Benshoff Hill Cemetery.  In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Disabled American Veterans or Interim Hospice of Johnstown.  Arrangements in care of Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., exclusive provider of “Veterans and Family Memorial Care.” Condolences may be made at HindmanFuneralHomes.com.
