Salem, Bertha “Barbara”, 94, Johnstown, passed away December 3, 2019 at The Villa. Born November 25, 1925 to the late Andrew and Mary (Fredmonsky) Galayda. Preceded in death by husband, William “Speedo” Salem; sisters, Verna Metarko; Anna Yasika; Julia Manculich; Irene Galayda; brothers, Andrew, John, Charles, Mike, and Stephen Galayda; and beloved dog, Zak. Survived by children, Linda Flynn (Pat); William Salem (Cindy); Christine Salem; sister, Betty Gelles; 5 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
