Smith, Bertha M. 94, of Northern Cambria, went to be with Lord on Tuesday July 26, 2016, at Rebekah Manor. Born February 6, 1922, in Homestead, PA; she was a daughter of the late Monroe and Lydia (Bell) Blake. She was preceded in death by her parents, her first husband Guy E. Rougeux, her second husband Ivan F. Smith, her siblings Russell Blake, Kenneth Blake, Robert Blake, and Mary Davis; her son-in-law Randy Henico; son-in-law Roger Holley; step-son, Ivan Smith Jr; step-son, Ace Smith. Survived by her children, daughter Barbara Rougeux, Jefferson Hills, PA; daughter Linda Ritter (Michael), Hummelstown, PA; daughter Donna Bouchane (William), Bell Center, OH; Daughter Isabel Henico; Hastings, PA; Daughter Sandra Shutty (Paul), St. Boniface, PA; 17 grandchildren, numerous great grandchildren, nieces, and nephews. Bertha was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Bertha loved cooking, baking, sewing, playing cards, bird watching, bowling, dancing, she enjoyed everything Christmas, and especially enjoyed spending time with her family. Friends and family will be received on Friday, July 29, 2016, from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m. at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, 333 Beaver St., Hastings, a funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 30 at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home, with Pastor Linda Lacovic officiating.  Interment will be at Union Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to either the American Heart Association or the American Cancer Society in memory of Bertha.
