Blair, Bertram Richard “Dick”, 86, Johnstown, passed away November 29, 2022. Born March 12, 1936, to the late John and Rose (Harshberger) Blair. Also predeceased by stepfather, James Proch. Survived by loving wife of 64 years, Eleanor (Baird); children, Dr. Jeffrey Blair, David (Jill) Blair, and Nancy (Wayne) Bryant; grandchildren, Sarah (Dayne) Ross, Julia (Toby) Blair-Hicks, Patrick Blair, Shannon Blair, and Sean Bryant; greatgrandchildren, Jace Brown, Eliza Ross, and Owen Hicks. Dick was a 1954 graduate of Johnstown Catholic High School. He had worked for Bethlehem Steel, Riverside Markets, and retired from Penelec after 22 years of service. Dick’s passions included his love of travel, cars, music, and hunting. He also had family and friends all over the U.S. Dick’s love of music was a major part of his life. He was a talented musician and a former member of Johnstown Symphony Chorus, St. John’s Choir, and current member of St. Gregory & Barnabas Choir. Dick’s greatest love in life was his family. Friends and family will be received on Friday, December 2nd from 4-8 p.m., Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., Johnstown, PA 15902. A funeral mass will be held on Saturday, December 3rd at 11 a.m., St. Gregory & Barnabas Parish, 120 Boltz St., Johnstown, PA 15902.
