BREZENSKY – Betty J., 81, of Cover Hill, died January 4, 2016, at Laurel Wood Care Center.  Born April 28, 1934, in Johnstown, daughter of the late Peter and Viola (Jeffers) Bifano. Preceded in death by beloved husband Frank of 53 years, parents; brothers, Tony and Nick; sister, Jeanette; son-in-law, Gene Johns; and grandchild, Samuel Johns.  Survived by children, Rick, married to Lynn (Killian), Johnstown; Susie Johns, and fiancé, Ed Jacoby, Cover Hill; Brenda Lawhead, Cover Hill; and Frank, married to Karen (Kopsic), Cover Hill; grandchildren, Nathan Brezensky, Chrissy married to Jon Rambeau and Amy married to Josh Dunmyer; great-grandchildren, Rockford, Madison, Jadelynn and Aliviah; sisters, MaryJane Gula, Ebensburg; Shirley married to Bill Wargo, Windber; Delores married to Richard Burkett, Windber; in-laws, Walter and Liz Berzinsky Portage, Frances Berzinsky, Portage, Anna Krutch, Johnstown; also, many nieces and nephews and dear friends.  Betty graduated from Greater Johnstown High School and was employed by Cay Artley Dress Factory as a seamstress before becoming a stay at home mom.  After Frank’s retirement, they operated their greenhouse in Cover Hill for many years. She loved her flowers and gardening. She also enjoyed camping on the Juniata River with her family and friends.  Betty was a wonderful cook and enjoyed preparing for the holidays; her family looked forward to her lasagna on Christmas day. Betty was member of Cover Hill Ladies Auxiliary and member of the St. Gregory’s Catholic Church where she volunteered her time at the fish fries in Daisytown for over 30 years.  Betty adored her husband, children and grandchildren.  She was a loving wife, mom and “grammy”.   She will be sadly missed by her family and all who knew her. We will miss you, Mom. Member of SS. Gregory and Barnabas Church, Daisytown, where funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday, the Rev. Robert L. Ruston, officiating.
