Obituary

Rininger, Betty Louise, 93, Johnstown, died Feb. 2, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center. Born Dec. 5, 1922 in Bedford, to the late Raymond and Mary (Pittman) Drenning. Preceded in death by husband, Ned; brother, Charles Raymond Rininger and aunt, Ruth Templeton. Survived by son, Raymond Rininger and wife, Mary, with whom she resided; grandsons, Todd; Travis; and Troy Rininger; Dallas and Chad Klotz; and numerous other aunts and uncles. Betty was a Veteran of the United States Women’s Army Corp during WWII. She was a member of the VFW Post 7527, American Legion Post 113, and the Ladies Auxillary. Betty worked many years as a waitress at Greystone Hotel. At the family’s request, there will be no viewing. A graveside service will be held at Bedford County Memorial Park at a later date. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Betty’s name to the Alzheimer’s Association.
