Gracey, Brian W., 62, of Johnstown, lost his battle with brain and lung cancer on March 1, 2018, at his residence, with Tammie, his angel on earth, at his side. Brian was born October 2, 1955, in Huntingdon, PA, son of the late William M. and Betty Jean (Park) Gracey. Mr. Gracey is Preceeded in death by his parents, and his infant nieces, Tracey Lynn and Christina Suzanne Brumbaugh, nephew Christopher Mitchell Rupert. Tammie’s father James L. Griffith and her siste Michelle “Shelly” Griffith. Mr. Gracey is survived by the love his life, Tammie Suzanne Griffith of Johnstown; his sons, Kyle Brian Gracey and his wife Sara (Wagner) of Pittsburgh, and Alexander “Alex” William Gracey and his significant other Christine Wu, of Brooklyn, New York. Also surviving is the mother of his sons, Dr. Dorothy Gracey of Indiana, PA. He is also survived by his sisters, Patricia Rupert and husband Stanley, of Saxton; Doris Carbaugh and husband Glen, of Saxton; Sharon Lehman and husband Timothy, of Johnstown, and is also survived by Joshua and Jacob Burgo, of Johnstown, and many nieces, nephews, and friends. Brian was blessed by “the greatest gift from God” – an incredible woman and her mother, Tammie Suzanne Griffith and her mother, Barbara “Sparkly” Griffith, both of Johnstown. Brian felt blessed to have shared a small portion of his life with these amazing ladies. A Celebration of Life service will be held at 11 a.m. on Wednesday March 7, 2018 at West Hills Community Church (Westmont Church of the Brethren), 2301 Sunshine Avenue, Johnstown, PA 15905. Father Scott Lill, Officiating. In lieu of flowers, Monetary donations or supplies can be given to “Four Footed Friends”, (a no-kill animal shelter) 220 Beck Rd., Indiana, PA 15701.
