She enjoyed creating crafts, cake decorating, candy making, crocheting, knitting, quilting and wood working. Most of all, she loved football. Saturdays were reserved for her favorite college teams – Notre Dame, Pitt, Maryland and West Virginia and Sundays for the Steelers. As a member of Visitation Parish and formerly of Saint Joseph Parish family, Carol instilled in her children that God always came first in their lives. She led by example as a Benedictine Oblate, Eucharistic Minister, choir member and President of the Rosary Altar Society. For over twenty years, Carol influenced and contributed to the lives of the many students at Central Catholic Elementary School where she worked as the school secretary.
