Markley, Carole Rose, 80, Mineral Point, passed away August 26, 2021 at Quality Life Services in Johnstown. Born September 27, 1940 in Pittsburgh. Daughter of the late Earl and Hedwig (Nees) Mock. Preceded in death by first husband, Charles Markley. Survived by husband, Willard Markley; daughter, Susan Shumaker (Mark), Mifflinburg; daughter, Lisa Selders (Greg), Johnstown; brother, Bill, NJ; sister, Diane, FL; grandchildren, Shane, Samantha (James), Sara (great granddaughter Faith Rose), and Cody; step children Paul (Cynthia, great grandson Rain), Mary Alice, and Philip (Melissa, great grandsons Philip and Josh). Carole enjoyed spending time with family, especially her grandkids and great granddaughter. She made each one feel uniquely special. Carole was like a second mom and grandmother to many others. She had a loving heart and such a lovely smile. She attended Elton Zion United Methodist Church. At the request of the family, services will be private. Interment at Forest Lawn Cemetery.
