Fisanick, Carolyn Jane, 76, Patton, passed away peacefully on Thursday January 25, 2018, at Select Specialty Hospital, Johnstown. She was born April 8, 1941 in Barnesboro, daughter of the late Frederick A. and Maude P. (Lallament) Caribardi.  Carolyn is preceded in death by her parents, and her brother, Gentile F. (Charles) Caribardi. Survived by her husband of 56 years, Stephen Fisanick Jr., her children Stephen III (Lisa), Patton; Eric T. (Tracy), Windber; grandsons Stephen IV and Niklas , Patton; granddaughter Helena L. of Windber; her sister Faye and (Rick) Grover, Franklin, MA; her sister Patty and (Bob) Kline, Northern Cambria; her brother Frederick Jr. and (Terri) Caribardi, Indiana; and is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews. Carolyn graduated from Barnesboro High School in 1959. She moved to Massachusetts, where she married and started a family. She returned to PA in the 70’s, and she and Stephen built their home in Patton, where she devoted her life to her husband, sons, grandchildren, and her 4 Persian cats. She was employed as an office manager for many years. She loved planting flowers, and tending to her gardens throughout the growing seasons,  she also enjoyed playing cards and reading books. She was a member of the St. Peter & Paul Byzantine Catholic church in Patton, PA. At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing, Friends and family will be received on February 9, 2018 from 6 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home & Crematory Inc., 333 Beaver Street, Hastings, PA. Panachida will be held following the visitation at 7 p.m., Father Vasyl Polyak, officiating. Interment will be held at the convenience of the family. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that donations in memory of Carolyn be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Place, Memphis, TN 38105, or to the Humane Society of Cambria County, 743 Galleria Dr. Ext., Johnstown, PA 15904.
