Bair, Catherine A.,79, Johnstown, went to be with the Lord on September 16, 2022 at Richland Woods Assisted Living Facility.  Born September 18, 1942, in Johnstown.  Daughter of the late Angelo and Geneive (Salem) Pollino.  Preceded in death by daughter Marcy A. Bair with whom she shared an inseparable bond. Survived by these children; Brian (Lisa), Craig (Helen), Corey (Jodie), and Randy, all of Johnstown; Grandchildren, Bria, Halle, Lila, Harper, Brendon, Laiken, Reese, Bailee, Bryce, and Reagan; brother Pat (Donna) Pollino of Johnstown, cousin Kathy Shamber-Washington who she was very close with, and numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.  Cathy was a graduate of Franklin High School in Johnstown. She attended St. Anthony’s Catholic Church and was a strong, determined, hardworking woman.  She bartended and waitressed at the Skyway Lounge and Johnnies Restaurant among other places, all while raising her 5 kids. She loved going to her kids and grandkids sporting events. She was a dedicated fan, never missing a game, even if she had to leave work. She was always  seen with Marcy cheering them on from the stands.  Cathy was an avid sports buff and especially loved watching all the Pittsburgh teams.  She also enjoyed duckpin bowling, ceramics, and cub scouts.  She was truly loved by her family and they will miss ALL of her daily phone calls.  Her family is comforted knowing she will be greeted in Heaven by Marcy and gram Pollino, waiting for her with a big hug and fresh bag of her favorite butterscotch candies.   The family would like to thank all the caregivers involved with her care the past few years, including all the personal caregivers, along with the staff of Richland Woods and Ascera Care Hospice. Family and friends will be received Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., Johnstown, PA 15902.  A funeral service will be held 11 a.m. Wednesday at the funeral home, Pastor Rodney Hatfield officiating.  Interment to follow at St. Anthony’s Cemetery in Johnstown. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Camp Parc, in memory of Marcy, at 196 E.
