Obituary

Casciato, Catherine, 96, Johnstown, died Dec. 18, 2014 at Cambria Care Center. Born Sept. 12, 1918 in Pittsburgh to the late Matthew and Anna (Sikiauec) Danylo. Preceded in death by husband, Arnold Casciato and brothers, Bill, Mike, and Pete. Survived by daughters, Catherine Boyle and husband Frank, NJ; Arlene Cerimele, Johnstown; son Arnold Casciato, CO; ten grandchildren; eight great grandchildren; and sister, Oga Danylo, CA.  Catherine was a member at St. Therese, Golden Ages of Ellwood City, and Legion of Mary. She was a homemaker for many years and a volunteer at the Providence Hospital in Beaver Falls. Family and friends will be received from 5-7pm, Sunday, at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd., Johnstown. Funeral mass will be celebrated at 10am Monday at Our Mother of Sorrows Church, Very Rev. Mark S. Begly officiating. Burial will take place at St. Mary’s Cemetery in Beaver Falls. Catherine was a wonderful woman who will be greatly missed by all who knew her.
