Lovejoy, Catherine M., 63, Johnstown, died April 20, 2015 at Shadyside Hospital. Born January 30, 1952 to the late John and Rita (Gallagher) Owens. Preceded in death by sister, Joanne Owens; and father in law, Leroy Lovejoy Sr. Survived by loving husband of 43 years, Leonard Lovejoy Sr.; daughter, Shannon, wife of Joseph Choby; son, Leonard Lovejoy Jr., and wife Jackee; siblings, Denise Owens; Rita Wilson, (Raymond); Shirley Louchart, (Jim); John Owens Jr., (Bert); Greg Owens; Patty Owens, (fiancé, Alex Lermineau); Tom Owens, (Mindy); grandchildren, Joey and Zach Choby; Landon and Lincoln Lovejoy; mother in law, Patricia Lovejoy; numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Catherine was a member of The Church of the Transfiguration. She enjoyed knitting, working with plastic canvas, and spending time with family and friends. Cathy was a loving wife, mother, and grandmother who loved her grandsons dearly. Friends will be received 12-2 & 4-5:30 p.m. with a service at 5:30 p.m., Fri. April 24th at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory, Inc., 1521 Frankstown Rd. Father Anthony Francis Spilka officiating. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to the family.
