Huss – Catherine R. (Burgo), 81, Johnstown, passed into eternity March 25, 2016 at Memorial Medical Center. Catherine was born March 7, 1935 in Johnstown, daughter of the late John Burgo and Margaret (Donahue) Burgo. Preceded in death by her husband Richard W. Huss Sr., her parents, her siblings John Jr., Joseph, and Helen. She is survived by her children, Son Richard Jr. married to Marcia (Jones), Daughter Theresa Sutt, Son Christopher married to Gail (Callihan), Daughter Karen Durica married to David Durica, Son James married to Tracey (Wagner) and Daughter Michelle married to Ira Strahl and loving grandchildren Richard Huss III, Matthew Huss, Courtney Harr, Megan Sutt, William Huss, Katlyn Kmetz, Allison Miller, Anna Durica, Maggie Durica, Kelsey Puma, Jenna Huss, Erika Huss, Marcus Strahl and Hannah Strahl, and six great grandchildren with one on the way. The family wishes to extend a special thanks to Allison for all the loving care she provided. Catherine was retired from the Central Catholic School, where she was employed as the manager of the Cafeteria. Catherine enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren, she enjoyed cooking, playing cards with her friends from Conemaugh Cardiac rehab, attending their annual picnic, she also enjoyed bowling, one of her biggest victories was beating cancer, and being able to be called a survivor. She was a member of St. Gregory Catholic Church in Daisytown where a service of Christian Burial will be held on March 30, 2016 at 1:00PM, Fr. Robert Ruston, Officiating.  Friends and family will be received on Wed. March 30, 2016 from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Home, 1521 Frankstown Road, Johnstown, PA 15902. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family request donations in memory of Catherine to: The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society, 3 International Drive, Suite 200 Rye Brook, NY 10573.
