Yanosky, Cathleen “Keenie”, 76, Nanty Glo, passed away on August 30, 2024, at her home surrounded by family and loved ones. Born August 5, 1948, in Johnstown, to the late Clifford and Clara (Simmers) Smith. Preceded in death by beloved husband, Albert Yanosky; grandson, Seth Yanosky; brother, Clifford Smith; and sister-in-law, Rosemary and husband Don Vay. Survived by children, Cathy Long (Shawn); Debora Marines (Ted); Michele Litzinger (Charles); Shane Yanosky (Shannon); grandchildren, Brook Williams (Richard); Samantha Inkrote (Andrew); Mackenzie Long (Anna); Amber Litzinger; Charlie Litzinger (Madison); Teddy Marines (Elena); Alexa and Taylor Yanosky; and Riley Marines; step-granddaughter, Karen Rose (Manny); great grandchildren, Airyonna, Mia, Ashton, Zander, TJ, Anders, Presley, and Jaxon; sister, Carol Kupchella (Tom); step-great grandchildren, Quinn, Valentina, Manny, and Siena; sister-in-law, Christine Smith; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great nieces and nephews. Cathleen’s life was a testament to the power of familial love. She dedicated her career to helping others and in various ways was an active member within her community throughout the years. Cathleen found immense joy in music, especially playing the broom guitar and the tunes of Elvis Presley. She also loved playing Texas Hold’em. Her life was marked by vibrant family gatherings, reflecting her belief in the importance of kinship and celebration.
