Stewart, Charles K., Jr. “Sonny”, 80, Johnstown, died Feb. 20, 2015 at Good Samaritan. Born July 8, 1934, Johnstown, son of the late Charles K. and Susana (Balon) Stewart, Sr. Preceded in death by sister, Betty; brothers, William and Thomas; three infant brothers; dogs, Bandit and Max; and cat Skeezix. Survived by his loving wife, Gladys J. (Brown); daughter, Christine Stewart; sons, Raymond (Peggy), NC; Brian, Johnstown; Daniel (Dorothy), MD; Timothy, Johnstown; three grandchildren, three great-grandchildren; sisters, Ruthie Penner, Johnstown; Mary Krise, Johnstown; Nancy Deffenbaugh (Harry), Nanty Glo; and a brother, Louis, Johnstown. Charles was a member of Johnstown Third Brethren Church, Local 1279 Union, worked for CamTran Authority as a bus driver, coached Coopersdale Elementary School Basketball and Lower Yoder summer league baseball teams, and also youth hockey at the Cambria County War Memorial. At Charles’s request, there will be no services. Interment Grandview Cemetery.
