Noon, Charles Jr., 82, Central City, passed away peacefully surrounded by family on November 18, 2018 at his home. Born September 18, 1936 to the late Charles and Bertha (Duman) Noon Sr. Preceded in death by wife, Janet Noon. Survived by children, Pamela Shaffer and husband Lamar; David Noon and wife Rose; Barry Noon and wife Mary Lou; Kenneth Noon and wife Sandra; Karen Garman and husband Lawrence “Chip”; Brenda Hart and husband Jonathon; grandchildren, Kevin Shaffer and wife Krystal; Douglas Shaffer and wife Lindsey; Laura Isel and husband Jonathon; Grant Noon; Chip Garman; Lucas Garman and wife Laura; Katie Rhodes and partner Dan; Lindsey Remick and husband Jon; great-grandchildren, Kamryn, Kaison, and Scarlett Shaffer; Ryatt Isel; close friends, Marlin and Kay Knisely; Gary Gerould; and beloved dog, Tiny. Charles was a proud 1953 Eagle Scout. He umpired both little league and softball games, and enjoyed pitching horseshoes, bowling, and scratch off lottery tickets. Charles and Janet were frequent campers at Glendale Yearound. He was an avid Steelers, Pirates, and Duke fan. Friends will be received from 10 a.m. until time of service at 11 a.m. Saturday November 24 at Berkey Church of the Brethren in Windber. Donations may be made in Charles’ name to Windber Hospice.
