Sidor, Charles R., 69, Johnstown, passed away July 5, 2016 at Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center. Born July 7, 1946 to the late Frank and Elva (Rummel) Sidor. Preceded in death by parents; youngest son, Frank Andrew Sidor; sister, Lovel Rodriquez; and sister-in-law, Darla Rummel. Survived by wife, Linda M. Sidor; daughters, Sherri Sivec (Michael), Patricia Derosa (Vincent), Dawn Nata, Toni Petak (Richard), and Terra Adams (Jason); son, Charles Jr. (Jackie); sisters, Mary Wilson and Audrey Burkhart; and brothers, Virgel and Darrel Rummel; grandchildren, Nicole Dipyalic, Timothy Sidor, Leah and Vincent Jr. Derosa, Ashley Becker, Adam Nata, Angel Townsend, Amber and Frank Jr. Sidor, Justin Newcomer, Tiffany, Todd, and Trista Petak; and three very special grandchildren, Charles Sidor lll, Makayla (Princess) and Madison (Boo) Adams, whose “unconditional love and devotion gave me a reason to want to live when I needed it the most”. Also survived by numerous great grandchildren. Charles was an employee of Bethlehem Steel Company’s 11” Mill for 30 years and a flight instructor for Single & Multi-engine Instrument Airplane for 5 years. He attended Mt. Aloysius College and graduated Magna Cum Laude with a Bachelor of science degree in accounting & business management. He acquired a position with the PA Department of Revenue Bureau of Audits and was employed for 8 years; forced to retire on a disability pension due to a heart condition. Charles was a long time member of the Beulah United Methodist Church located in Dale borough.
