Knepper, Christine Sharon, 67, Beaverdale, died April 22, 2021 at Windber Hospice. Born September 22, 1953 to the late Russell and Freada (Brown) Wolfhope. Preceded in death by brother, Charles Wolfhope and sister, Nancy Wolfhope. Survived by loving, devoted husband Donald Lynn Knepper; children, Amy (Pete) Berkebile, Stoystown, Lori (Matthew) Gramling, Elton, and Ryan (Erin) Knepper, Indiana; grandchildren, Maura, Madison, Samuel, Easton, Emily and Ian; and sister-in-law, Jane Wolfhope.
Chris was a graduate of Forest Hills High School, class of 1971. She briefly worked as a secretary at Stineman Ribbon Company before marrying Lynn and becoming a mother. Chris devoted her life to her children and grandchildren, participating in many of their activities and attending concerts, games, practices and plays. She taught Sunday School and Bible School for many years, was a Girl Scout Leader, Band Parent, Sports Mom, Chauffeur, Proud Grandma and Babysitter. Chris was an active member of the Class of 1971 Reunion planning committee. She was also a lifelong Lutheran and a member of St. John Lutheran Church in Summerhill.
