Johnstown, PA – Christine (Tomkowski) Trevino, 64, went to be with the Lord December 12, 2015 at LaurelWood Care Center. Born November 4, 1951 in Johnstown; she was a daughter of the late Theodore and Jennie (Gryzbicki) Tomkowski. She was also preceded in death by her husband Art Trevino; a sister, Theodora “Teddie” Tomkowski. Survived by a sister, Kathleen Charney and husband Jonathan, Vinco; brothers, Tom Tomkowski and wife Katherine (Joos), Pittsburgh, Larry Tomkowski and wife Lynne (Ashbridge), Westmont, nieces and nephews,, Jonathan “Jonny” Charney, Bethel, Marlyse Charney, York, Christopher Tomkowski, Las Vegas, Zanine Tomkowski, Johnstown, Mikayla Tomkowski, Johnstown, Lucy, Abby and Gabriel Tomkowski all of Pittsburgh, great nieces, Elizabeth, Emily Anne and Lovelyn. She also leaves behind two canine companions, Cody and Riley. Chris spent most of her adult life in Las Vegas, NV. She worked at the Las Vegas Water Department for many years. She enjoyed pottery and loved to cook for her entire family. Christmas was her favorite holiday. A mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. on Friday, December 18, 2015 at St. Anne Church, 533 Woodland Ave., Johnstown PA 15902 with Father Bernard Karmanocky OFM officiating. Inurnment will follow at Grandview Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Humane Society of Cambria County, 743 Galleria Dr, Johnstown, PA 15904.
