Clair M. Weakland Sr., 81, of Hastings passed away Saturday November 5, 2022 at UPMC Altoona. Born August 26, 1941 in Hastings; son of the late Bernard and Frances (Natcher) Weakland. Also preceded in death by brothers, Leroy and Raymond Weakland; sisters, Christina Weakland and Agnes Lytle. Survived by his wife of 58 years, Regina (Miller) Weakland; children, Sandra Weakland, Hastings, Pamela Holtz (Michael), Hastings, Linda Smoker (Stephen), Port Allegany, Clair Morton Weakland Jr. (Beth) Gallitzin, Tracie Weakland, Northern Cambria; brothers, Jack Weakland, Hastings, Ralph Weakland, Patton; sisters, Evelyn Spacht, Hastings, Marian Jones, Ohio, Carol Lee, West Virginia; 15 grandchildren; 6 great grandchildren; many nieces and nephews. Mr. Weakland retired from Westover Leather. He was a member of St. Bernard Catholic Church. He was a woodworker, and enjoyed the outdoors, hunting and fishing. Friends and family will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 pm on Tuesday November 8, 2022 at Easly-Hindman Funeral Home, Hastings. A service will be private at the convenience of the family.
