Obituary

Horner, Clarence Jr., 90, Johnstown, passed away April 23, 2023 at Westmont Woods. Born December 19, 1932. Son of the late Clarence Sr. and Zora (Hess) Horner. Preceded in death by brother, Kenneth Horner; and sisters, Ruby, Dorothy, Betty, Doris, Arlene, and Rose. Survived by best companion of 60 years, Mary Galbraith; and nieces and nephews. Clarence proudly served our country in the U.S. Army. He enjoyed being a firefighter and working for the city of Johnstown for 49 years. He was a member of the Cambria 278 Masons, Shriners, VFW Post 155, Odd Fellows, William F. Packer Encampment of Johnstown, and the Retired Firefighter Association. Family and friends will be received Wednesday from 11 a.m. until the time of service at 1 p.m., Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 146 Chandler Ave., Johnstown, PA 15906, Edward Gilkey officiating.
