Rummel, Clifford E., 93, Fort Myers, FL, formerly of Johnstown, passed away on December 22, 2019 at Page Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Fort Myers, FL. Born February 27, 1926 in Johnstown. Son of the late Elmer L. and Viola (Adams) Rummel. Preceded in death by his parents; his wife of 74 years, Mary Jane (Satzinger); his son Clifford A. Rummel; his grandsons, Scott Rummel and Brian Cribbs, and his siblings, Francis, Margaret, Mildred, and John;. Clifford is survived by his son James Rummel (Janet), Johnstown; his daughter Jayne Rummel, Fairborn, OH; his grandchildren, Robert Cribbs, Michael Cribbs, Liana Daniels (Garth), Boswell; and Lori Rummel, Johnstown; his great grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Nicholas, Nathan, Britton, Trinity, Samantha, and Ethan; Clifford is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other family members. Clifford served in the United States Navy during World War II, and was retired from Bethlehem Steel, where he worked as a welder in the car shop. Clifford did a lot to help Johnstown to recover from the 1977 flood, and then he and Jane moved to Fort Myers in 1986 to manage the Sunny Court Mobil Park. Clifford enjoyed square dancing with Jane at the Richland mall, and spending time with family. Friends and family will be received on Thursday January 2, 2020 from 10 a.m. until time of the funeral at 12 p.m. at Hindman Funeral Homes & Crematory Inc., 1521 Frankstown Road, Johnstown, PA 15902. Pastor Peter Nordlund, Officiating.  Interment will be in Benshoff Hill Cemetery.
