Miller Dale Obit Pic

Dale passed suddenly on Wednesday, September 7, 2022. Dale was an amazingly kind and loving husband of 32 years to Sandy (Faust). Although they had no children of their own, Garrett and Madeline were definitely the son and daughter they never had. Dale had so much pride and love for them both. Dale’s life was full of furry loved ones including Riley, Remmy, and William; preceded in death by, Winston, Wilson, and Nina. He was a passionate animal lover who never said no to an animal in need. Not a weekend went by that Dale, and life long best friend Garry, wouldn’t be hard at work on projects, as happy as can be. These long workdays usually ended with a well-deserved visit to the Dew Drop. Dale loved and admired his circle of friends including Chad, Todd, Jeff, Mike Z, and Nate. These guys showed up whether there was work to be done or beer to be drank. Dale had many siblings, James, Jeff, Vicki, Kim, Diane, Bill, Bob, Donny, Bobby, and Debbie. Diane was not only a sister, but a friend and even a mother throughout his life, until her passing in 2021. Mary Louise Blough was a loving mother to Dale. Mary Ann Faust had the honor of becoming a second loving mother to Dale when he married Sandy in 1990. Don Blough was technically a stepfather to Dale but filled the role of a loving Dad early on. Don was Dale’s biggest fan. Don Faust was Dale’s father-in-law. Dale made his daughter the happiest girl on earth. Tracee, Sandy’s sister, played an interesting role in Dale’s life. Dale and Tracee knew how much to push each other’s buttons, but always brought out the best in one another. It was like a sibling rivalry filled with love. Dale’s niece, Becky, and her husband Terry acted as a shield of love and strength when it was needed most. The family will be forever grateful for their acts of love and support during the darkest days. Dale is missed beyond words yet lives on forever in our hearts and memories. A private service will be held at a later date.
