Obituary

Burkhardt, Daniel, born Mar. 21, 1974 in Johnstown. Daniel’s life was taken there on Mar. 2, 2016. Survived by his loving mom and dad, Marian and David Burkhardt; aunt, Sue Pahl; uncles Edwin and James Sewastynowicz; and cousins. Daniel dearly loved each friend that he’s ever had. Those friendships were the most important things in the world to him. Always gentle and very generous, Daniel wanted to help others whenever he could. He was quite artistic. He did elaborate sketches and enjoyed making things for himself and for friends. A real opportunity for a better life lay just weeks away but was stolen away from him. Also stolen away were the dreams and the hearts of we who awaited him and who love him so very much. We ask for your prayers for Daniel. A memorial service will be held at a later time.
