Obituary

Fry, David E., “Woody”, 73, Johnstown, died May 4, 2016 at home. Born Aug. 22, 1942 to Archie J. and Mary (Mardis) Fry. Preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Walter Fry, and Marlene Carney. He is survived by his wife Barbara Anna (Moose) Fry, his children, Wendy Guleyupoglu married to Suleyman, Virginia; Nevin Fry married to Kimberly, Virginia; his grandchildren, Erol, Aydin, Lillian, Megan, and Julia; his siblings, Rhoda Magistro, Florida; Joan Wadsworth, Wyoming; Ray Fry, California; Sandy Richey, Richland; Jackie Mateer, IN; and Sheri Kohrman, IN; and numerous nieces and nephews. David retired from Pepsi Co., where he worked as a mechanic, and he was a member of Tri County ATV.  At the request of the deceased there will be no viewing. A memorial service will take place on Sat. May 14, 2016 at 2 p.m. at Calvary United Methodist Church, 159 Chandler Ave. Johnstown, Pastor Wendy Henderson officiating. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to Calvary United Methodist Church, 159 Chandler Ave. Johnstown, PA 15906.
